Ondo state commissioner for information and orientation, Donald Ojogo has condemned the current federating system as it entails in Nigeria as a country.

Addressing journalists at the State Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of journalists in Akure the state capital, Ojogo said if not for the systemic failure in Nigeria, things should be in better shape across the country.

Speaking on protracted complete  blackout at the southern senatorial district of Ondo state which has been on for over 12 years, Ojogo said state government has made many fruitless efforts to address the issue but due to federal government sole control on power generation and distribution, nothing much has been achieved in that regard and the people in the area have been left in total darkness.
