The Delta state police commissioner CP Olufemi Abaniwonda has reiterated the commands resolve to fish out the perpetrators of Monday night,s killing of two policemen on escort duties with the wife of the Lawmaker Representing Warri South constituency one Hon. Augustine Oroye.

The command in a statement made available to newsmen and signed by the state police commissioner Olufemi Abaniwonda, said the anti-kidnapping squad of the command have been deployed to every nook and corners of Uvwie local government area of the state to bring the perpetrators to book.

CP Abaniwonda said the command is living no stone unturned, in ensuring that Delta state is free from crime and criminality.

According to CP Olufemi, the intelligence unit of the command has taken it upon themselves to intensify the search of the policemen killers, while also relying on the forensic unit to track down the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
It will be recalled that the two policemen and the driver were shot and killed in a failed attempt to abduct the lawmakers wife, as the abductors escaped without the lawmakers wife after their operational vehicle was involved in an accident.
