President Tinubu Says Africa Has What It Takes to Develop

President Bola Tinubu says Africa has what it takes to develop itself. The president made the assertion during an interaction with Rwandan President Paul Kagame, on the sidelines of the ongoing, the 2025 edition of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2025) holding in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirate.

President explained that Africa has Both the expertise and resources to grow but said such development may not material unless Leaders look inward and improve trade and collaboration to benefit the African people and the continent itself.

He said there's no need to waste more time as it should be burning in the minds of the African leaders to liberate the continue and make more attractive for more foreign investment. Assuring that his leadership as ECOWAS chairman will do it's best, the president called on other African leaders to join hands, eschew ethnic differences to achieve the desire development for the African People.

Recall that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, had invited President Tinubu to attend the Summit, which will take place in the emirate from January 12 to 18.

The Summit brought together global leaders to accelerate sustainable development and advance socioeconomic progress. The event, 'The Nexus of Next; Supercharging Sustainable Progress,' will enable policymakers, business, and civil society leaders to explore pathways to fast-track the transformation to a sustainable economy and evolve a new era of prosperity for all.
