The Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman and the Minister of State for Education, Dr Yusuf Sununu, on Monday expressed satisfaction with the ongoing 2024 Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination.

According to the Ministers, the standard of the Examination is commendable saying it is not a surprise that JAMB has moved outside Nigeria, to conduct examinations.
The two Ministers, who arrived at different times at the Headquarters of Jamb in Bwari Area of the Federal Capital Territory, were received by the Registrar of Jamb, Prof Ishaq Oloyede.

Galaxy TV reports that the Ministers commended Jamb for the feat achieved so far on the ongoing national exercise despite the few hiccups recorded in some centres as well as the challenges faced by the candidates .

According to them, so far, there has been a complete reduction on the issue of Examination malpractice adding that, all hands must be on the deck to give the standard of what is needed to be given in any Examination for objectivity and reliability of the results.
Professor Mamman and Dr. Sununu, Express satisfaction with the speed in the centre, which they described as excellent saying pages are turned as at when candidates need them without any delay of booting.

They added that there has been no report of leakage of questions regarding the ongoing examination noting that, with online examinations, a lot can be achieved.
