Over five hundred leaders from the two hundred and seventy wards under the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party in Delta state have been urged to serve as ambassadors of peace in promoting the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

These were the words of the senior political adviser to the Delta state Governor Hon. Solomon Funkekeme, while addressing them in Asaba the Delta state capital.

Addressing party faithful, the senior political adviser to the Governor urged them to see themselves as a link between the people and government.

It will be recalled that some party leaders in Delta state were aggrieved after the Governor decides to cut down his over two thousand aides after his re-election, hence the need for the stakeholders meeting to reconcile them.
