Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has charged Nigerian politicians to shun political differences and maintain the unity of purpose for the progress of the country.

The Governor also stressed the need for politicians to work towards having a government of National unity devoid of ethnic and religious affiliations.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the Governor while speaking at the sideline of an event in Ibadan, the state capital declared that politicians, irrespective of their political parties are working towards the same goals with the ultimate aim of improving the quality of life for the masses.

According to him, national peace is paramount at this period adding that all hands must be on the deck towards sustaining peace and unity of Nigeria.
