Burundi's Sada Nahimana capped off a remarkable week of tennis by clinching her first ITF World Tour title at the #LagosOpen in Onikan today.

Sada Nahimana secures her very 1st ITF singles title at the 3rd time of trying! The Burundian defeats Laura Pigossi 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.

She becomes the 1st African to win the women's singles title since South Africa's Chanelle Scheepers reigned supreme in 2007.

Nahimana recovered from a set down to clinch the #LagosOpen title with a win against Brazil LauraPigossi who was seeded 6th at the start of the tourney.
