In a move set to revolutionize agriculture in the state, the Anambra State Government has launched a school farming programme to be practised in all Primary secondary schools in the state

This was disclosed by the State Governor, Chief Willie M. Obiano while flagging off the 2019 farming season in Awka, the Anambra State Capital.

The Governor said agriculture, being an integral part of his administration's policy, will continue to receive the necessary attention required for it TO THRIVE. 

Also speaking, stakeholders in the agricultural value chain espoused the integral role agriculture plays in National development.

They, therefore, called on Nigerians especially the youths, to embrace agriculture as a means of self-sustenance.
