Benue Assembly suspends four members
Benue State House of Assembly has suspended four of its members.
They were suspended this afternoon by eleven members out of the thirty - one for betraying the trust of the assembly.
The majority leader, Hon Saater Tiseer, representing Mbagwa state constituency, moved the motion for the suspension of the 4 members
The suspended members are Cephas Dyako, of labour party, Gyila Solomon, of APC, Douglas Akya, of the PDP, and
Anthony Agom of PDP
The suspension is for a period of three months from legislative Duties.
Meanwhile, the House also confirmed 21 Caretaker Chairmen that was forwarded to them by the Executive for confirmation.
